5 June 1718 Benedict Worrall admitted to land in the Manor of Grovebury on the death of Benedict his father, who had died on 8 Jun 1717.

Bond for penal sum £410 to secure a surrender made same date by Mary Worrall, L.B., widow, John How of L.B., distiller and Elizabeth his wife, John Ellingham junior of Stanbridge, L.B. yeoman and Susanna his wife, Mary Worrall junior of L.B., spinster, Richard Atkins of Eaton Bray, baker and Sarah his wife, to the use of Summers Skikelthorp of L.B. ironmonger, and on his death to the use of Mary and Elizabeth Skikelthorp and his daughters. The surrender was made in consideration of £205, and was of 34 acres in the open fields of Leighton Buzzard (full schedule) ... Shenley Hill Field 13 acres ... Middle Field 9 acres 2 roods ... Grovebury Field 11 acres 2 roods to which premises Elizabeth How, Susanna Ellingham, Mary Worrall spinster and Sarah Atkins were admitted, amongst other lands and tenements, on the death of Benedict Worrall junior their father, and which had been bought by him and his father Benedict Worrall senior of Matthew Mead, Thomas Hopkins, Toby Churchill, the heir of Thomas Keysers, John Chesire, Thos.
