George Oliver Worsley was born on 22 February 1927 at Malton, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom. [1]
He was the son of Colonel Sir William Arthington Worsley 4th Bt. and Joyce Brunner. George Oliver Worsley usually went by his middle name of Oliver.
He attended Eton College. He graduated Trinity College Oxford in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts and again in 1955 with a Master of Arts
He married Penelope Susanne Fleetwood Fuller daughter of Christopher Herbert Fleetwood Fuller and Beatrice Susan Hambro, on 29 October 1966.
He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) He was Major in the Queen's Own Yorkshire Yeomanry, late King's Royal Rifle Corps.
He died on 30 November 2010 at age 83.
