Friedrich Harry was born on 20 December 1927 at New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of George Richard Worster and Edith M Hulton.[1]
In the 1930 census Frederick, as named, was living with his parents and maternal grandmother at 533 Rivet St, New Bedford. He was aged 2 years. [2]
In the 1940 census George and Edith Worster were still living at 533 Rivet St. However Friedrich and brother Richard have not been located in this census.
Friederich [sic] Harry Worster completed a WWII Draft Registration card in December 1942. At that time he was living at 81 Rockdale Ave, New Bedford and was aged 18 years. Frederick had been born on 20 December 1927 at New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was then a student at New Bedford High School. The name and address of a person who would always know his address was recorded as his father George R Worster, of the same address. Physically Frederick was described as 5 feet, 4 inches in height and weighed 140 pounds. He had a light complexion with hazel eyes and brown hair. [3]
In the 1946 New Bedford High School Yearbook named The Crimson Log there is a photograph of Fred [sic] Harry Worster. It was recorded Harry, as he was known as, was born on 20 December 1927 at New Bedford. He had previously attended Roosevelt Junior High School. Harry was intending to join the Army. [4]
In the 1947 New Bedford Directory Frederick, as named, was still living with his parents at 81 Rockdale Ave and working as a mill operative. The 1949 directory recorded Frederick still at the same address and working as a mill operative at H Mfg Co [Hathaway Manufacturing Company]. In the 1952 directory he was named H. Frederick but his address and employment were unchanged. In the 1955 Directory Frederick H. was an employee of B H Inc [Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Of interest in 1955 Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates merged with the Hathaway Manufacturing Company]. [5]
Frederic [sic] H Worster died on 7 November 1977 at New Bedford. [6]
