Biography
Silas was born in 1770. In 1774, his parents moved the family to New Garden in North Carolina.[1]
He married Matilda Macy in 1797 and was the father of at least four children: Lydia, Paul, Rhoda, and Achsa.[1]
He likely passed away in 1831, shortly before administration of his estate began in March of that year.[2]
