Nancy McCleave Worth was born on August 28, 1854. She was the daughter of Charles Worth and Sarah Eldredge.
The 1860 U.S. Census for Nantucket, Nantucket, Massachusetts, records Charles P. Worth as the 38-year-old head of household. Also listed are Sarah P. Worth, age 37; Charles Worth, age 13; Nancy M. Worth, age 5. Everyone in the household was born in Massachusetts.
The 1865 Massachusetts State Census for Nantucket finds Charles P. Worth as the 42-year-old head of household. Also listed are his wife, Sarah W. Worth, age 40; Charles William Worth, age 18; and Nancy M. Worth, age 10, all born in Mass.
Nancy married Harry Preston Otis.
Nancy Worth Otis died on October 12, 1920, in Northampton. She is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Florence, Hampshire, Massachusetts.
