Biography

George was born in 1853. George was the child of George Worth and Mary Ann Maybury. ^[1]

George (Senior) migrated to Australia in 1844. He was 16 years old. A newspaper article in Nottingham Review 6 December 1844 reported that on Friday and Saturday evenings 30 individuals went by train via Liverpool for Sydney South Wales, chiefly from Markfield & Loughborough.

George married Barbara Beisler on 24 July 1878 in Port Stephens, NSW. They had 4 children. The youngest died as an infant some months before George's passing in 1885.

George is buried in the Worth Private Cemetery at Curreeki Creek Coolongolook

After the death of George Worth in 1885 ,Barbara married Francis (Frank) Paff. Barbara and Frank had 8 Children

Barbara died 13 Sept 1919 aged 59 in Stroud NSW as a result of a sulky accident -late of Firefly Creek near Krambach, NSW
