Biography

Samuel Worthen was born 14 May 1708 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Samuell Worthen and Deliverance Heath.[1]

Samuel, his wife, and children removed to Hampstead, Rockingham, New Hampshire. Marriage for Samuel and births/baptisms of various children are recorded in both towns.

Samuel married Meheteball Heath 3 Feb 1732/3.[2][3]

They had the following children:

  2. Hannah, b 31 Jan 1734/5 Haverhill[1]
  3. Ezekiel, bapt 14 Aug 1737 Haverhill[5]
  4. Samuel, b 26 Apr 1739, bapt 17 Jun 1739[1][6]
  5. Oliver, b 11 Mar 1743 Hampstead[7]
  6. Amos, b 1 Jan 1746, bapt 10 May 1747[5][8]
  7. Mary, b 16 Sep 1751 Hampstead[9]

He passed away Sep 1756 in Hampstead.[10]
