Samuel Worthen was born 14 May 1708 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Samuell Worthen and Deliverance Heath.[1]
Samuel, his wife, and children removed to Hampstead, Rockingham, New Hampshire. Marriage for Samuel and births/baptisms of various children are recorded in both towns.
