Biography

When James Lewis Wray was born on September 6, 1836, in Indiana, his father, Jordan, was 25 and his mother, Easter, was 26. He had four sons and seven daughters from one relationship. He then married Frances Ann Varvel and they had 30 children together. He died on May 21, 1917, in Cañon City, Colorado, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried there.
