Biography

Ralph Orville Wren was born on February 25, 1882 in Gale Township, Kansas to William Wren and Almira Medora Seamons. He was one of ten children born to this union. He came to Utah in 1903.

On April 18, 1918, he married Effie May Gurney in Malad, Idaho. They would have six children. The family moved to Snowville, Idaho in 1944.

Orville was appointed to the position of U.S. Postmaster on November 14, 1918 in Curlew, Oneida, Idaho.

He passed away on July 16, 1949 in Snowville, Utah. Orville was buried in Snowville Cemetery.
