According to the census information her birth year was either 1844 or 1845. She was born In Guilford county, North Carolina.[1][2][3]
The 1860 census enumerated June 9, 1860 shows her living in Greensboro, Guilford country, North Carolina
Following from 1860 Census indicates living with this family. Pge 134, dwelling 207
Mary Huffines, 90, F, W, Orange
David Huffines 43, M, W, Farmer, 700.00, 1520.00, Guilford
Sarah Huffines, 50, F, W, 300.00, Guilford
Margaret Wren 16, F, W, guilford Co.
Paul Wharton indicted this is Peter A. Wrenn's sister. Why he thinks this I don't know.[4]
Shows year of birth 1844. If Peter was born in March 7, 1845, it would have been hard for Mary to have been pregnant with both of them at the same time. All the other information points to Margaret as having been born earlier.[5]

I would trust material from Paul Wharton probably before anyone else. He does not have a computer and does everything the old fashioned way. He has documentation for everything he has in his family tree.
