Biography

Frederick was born in Battle Sussex in 1855. He was the son of Frederick Wren and Emma Wilkinson. Frederick was about 5 years old when he was christened in Battle on 27 September 1861.

Frederick worked as a tailor.

On 24 November 1879 at St Clement Church Hastings Sussex, Frederick married Sophia (Sophie) Peters. Frederick and Sophie became the parents of a daughter Sophy who was born in 1880. Frederick was widowed when Sophie died in Rye Sussex in January 1885.

In 1886 in Guildford Surrey, Frederick remarried, to Mary Sophia Brown with whom he would have 3 more children.

Frederick was widowed for a second time in 1928. He died in Merton Surrey in August 1937 at about age 81. He was interred at St Mary's Church Merton on 11 August 1937.
