Mary was born January 1845 in Cobbtown to James Millard Wrenn Sr. and Sarah Sapp.[1]
She was just 16 when she married John Sikes on March 12, 1859.[2] They had one child in 1861, a daughter named Catherine. It's believed that John died in the Civil War. Her second marriage was to Allen Collins on August 9, 1863.[3] They had 11 children. They were: Billy (1865-1945),[4] James (1868-1942),[4] Nancy (1870-1936),[4] Sarah (1872-1934),[4] Rufus (1874-1950),[4] George (1876-1933),[4] Newton (1877-1936),[4]
Horatio (1880-1945),[5] Emmitt (1882-1937),[6] Leonard (1884-1956),[7] and Mary (1890-1976).[8]
Mary passed away in 1893 still living in Cobbtown and was buried in Hebron Cemetery.[9]
