WRIGHT - On August 20th 1928 at his late residence, Von Tempsky, Hamilton East, Jcob Henry, dearly beloved husband of Annie Maude Wright and eldest son of the late Jacob Henry Wright of Boscarne, Pukekohe, aged 62 years. The funeral will leave the above address tomorrow at 10 am. for the Pukekohe Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.
New Zealand Herald 21st August 1928 page 12  MR. Jacob Henry Wright - The death occurred at his residence. Von Tempsky Street, Hamilton, to-day, of Mr. Jacob Henry Wright, a well-known land valuer, and agent, at the age of 62. Mr. Wright was born at Mount Albert and was a son of the late Mr. Jacob H. Wright of Penzance, Cornwall, England, who later became a well-known farmer of the Pukekohe district. Deceased received his education at the Auckland Grammar School and when a young man went to Australia, where ho farmed for several years. On returning to New Zealand he entered the land agency business and was for years Waikato manager for Samuel Vaile and Sons Limited. On leaving that firm he entered business on his own account, but for a considerable time had been living in comparative retirement, although his wide knowledge of property and his keen sense of values caused his advice to be sought by dealers in property and mortgages. He was employed by the Hamilton Borough Council as its assessor and valuer. Mr. Wright had resided in Hamilton for 25 years, and was a well-known figure. He was married twice. He leaves a widow and two sons and three daughters.
