Mary Alice Wright was born 05 Jun 1866 in Livingston, Overton County, Tennessee to Allen Wright and Nancy Jane Hill.^[1][2][3][4]

She married William M. Franklin on 19 Nov 1882 in Overton County, Tennessee on 19 Nov 1882 in Overton County, Tennessee^[5][6][2][1] and the couple had the following known children:

1. Nora Franklin was born Dec 1884 in Tennessee.^[2]
2. Andrew Franklin was born Oct 1886 in Tennessee.^[2]
3. John Franklin was born Jun 1889 in Tennessee.^[2]

Funeral is Held Here Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Franklin were held from the Roy D. Short company Memorial chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. E. L. Latham officiating, assisted by Rev. F. E. Roney. Music was furnished by Mrs. Nellie Barnes, Mrs. Mary Bince, and Mrs. Jess H. Seitz, with Nelson E. Kern as accompanist. Pall bearers were Vertis Wagner, Ernest Strothers, Paul Williams, William Templeton, Price Franklin, and Lendel Boshears. Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery.^[7]
