Mudgee Guardian & Nth western Representative 1908. Page 12 Mr Robert James Wright goes to Gaol for 3 days for being inebriated.

Bathurst Times 5-9-1912. P4. Robert Wright,Buckaroo,Age 53 was found in a dying condition in a paddock near the Buckaroo Inn.Before medical aid could be summonedhe died.The deceased was known to be subject to fits.He left the Inn on Friday evening and was apparently overcome by the intense cold.He leavesa family of 10. The deceased was known as a collector of animal specimens for museum purposes.

Mudgee Guardian & Nth western Representative 1912 The rather unexpected death of Mr R.J.Wright occurred early Saturday morning on his way home from Budgee the previous night,only a distance of a couple of miles.He appeared to have lost his way,with the result that he lay out all night in the frost.His daughter Sarah proceeded next morning to accertain the whereabouts of her father and found him in a perishing condition only a short distance away from a house.When discovered he was still alive and police and a doctor were communicated with,but before medical aid arrived he expired.Deceased was Age 53 and leaves a wife and 10 children,only two of whom are married,namely Mrs Bailey Of Buckaroo and Mrs A Bennett of Mudgee. To the bereaved ones we extend our sympathy. Buried Mudgee Cemetery.
