Biography

Event: Killed in War of 1812; Mounted Inf. Col. Phillips, Capt. John Scott. Military Service.

Note: After Robert was killed in the war of 1812 the court awarded custody of his and Nancy's children to Nancy's brother William R. Dale (Sometimes spelled Dail). This occurred Oct. 13, 1817 in Anderson Co. Tenn. Information found in State Archives Nashville, Tn. Copied in the 1930's by WPA. 2 Much of the information on this family is from a book, " Autobiography of Rev. A. B. Wright" by Rev. J. C. Wright, his son, and from Richard Wright ( AnchorRest@aol.com ), a descendant of Moses Berden Wright, born 22 Oct. 1811.

Robert was born about 1785. He was the son of Moses Wright and Margaret Edmondson. He passed away in 1815.[1]

Marriage Husband Robert Wright. Wife Nancy Dale. Child: Elizabeth Wright. Child: Moses Barden Wright. Child: Jeremiah Wright. Marriage bet 1809 -1810. Anderson or Union Co., TN. [2][3] Imported only 1809 from Marriage Date and marked as uncertain.
