Biography

Isaac Wright was born in Moss, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England in about 1802, and he was christened in Campsall, the parish which Moss was in, on the 24th of November 1802. Isaac's parents were William Wright and Mary Wright.^[1]

William was the youngest of at least two children born to William and Mary; his older sister was Elizabeth (1800) was also christened in Campsall.^[2]

When Isaac was 22 years old, in 1824, he married 22 year old Sarah Webster; who was from Leeds, which was also in the West Riding of Yorkshire and about 25 miles from Moss, on the 8th of November in Brayton, which was also in the West Riding of Yorkshire and about 12 miles from Moss.^[3]

Isaac and Sarah had at least three children together who were Mary, John, George, William, Isaac, and Sarah
