Biography

Lura Wright was born on May 4, 1886 in Brumley, Missouri to George Wright and and Jennie Wilson.^[1]

According to the 1900 census, Lura lived with her parents and her siblings in Glaze Twp, Miller County, Missouri.^[2]

On November 13, 1905, Lura married William McClain in Tuscumbia, Missouri.^[3]

According to the 1930 census, Lura lived with William and their children, Fred, Ila and Fay in Jackson Twp, Camden County, Missouri.^[4]

Lura died on January 14, 1968 in Miller County, Missouri.^[1]

She is buried in the Gott cemetery in Ulman, Missouri.^[5]
