On November 13, 1905, Lura married William McClain in Tuscumbia, Missouri.[3]
According to the 1930 census, Lura lived with William and their children, Fred, Ila and Fay in Jackson Twp, Camden County, Missouri.[4]
Lura died on January 14, 1968 in Miller County, Missouri.[1]
She is buried in the Gott cemetery in Ulman, Missouri.[5]
