Betsy Wright was born on June 3, 1787 in Coventry Township, Tolland, Connecticut, daughter of Roswell Wright (1761–1835) and Mary (Jeffary) Wright (~1759–1787).

Betsy had a sister, Polly (Wright) Kingsbury (June 3 1787 – November 25 1871).

Betsy died on January 8, 1822 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut, United States, aged 34. She was buried in South Street Cemetery, Coventry, Tolland County, Connecticut.^[1]
