According to Ancestry, I am the descendant of a woman named Elizabeth Wright who fought in the Revolutionary War, but it doesn't give me any other information about her. I would love to know if this is my grandmother!

Ella, just wanted to confirm that you received my reply, if not here it is :

"This Elizabeth Lovell Wright was 1st wife of my 5x grandfather Ebenezer Smith Platt, ( he remarried numerous times and was a bit of an adventurer and scoundrel). He left her after their return to Philadelphia/NJ area following Elizabeth’s and her mother’s successful campaign to have him released from Newgate Prison during the Revolution War. ( it’s a very long and dramatic story). I am not aware of any children , between Elizabeth and Ebenezer, and am also unclear if Elizabeth remarried or had children after Ebenezer left. She comes from a pretty prominent family (her mother was an American spy with close ties to Franklin and sister married painter John Hoppner, so her relations should be well documented, I just have not done that research as it is parallel to my connection to Ebenezer. If you do find more info on your connection with Elizabeth and or Ebenezer , I would be very interested in hearing about it. Not sure it this helps, but feel free to respond with any questions. "
