Birth and Parents

Thomas Wright was born in Sussex, England.

Thomas, the son of Thomas Wright and Mary Hooper was born on 21 December 1870 at Rye, England.^[1]He was christened on 3 February 1871.^[2]

Marriage

Thomas married Sarah Jane Foote, the daughter of Thomas and Harriet (Payne) Foote say 1889 at Tavistock, Devonshire, England. The 1891 census shows that Thomas, 20 years of age, occupation copper miner was living with his wife, Sarah J. Wright (20 years) and her family Thomas Foote (52 years), Harriett Foote (53 years), siblings Harry Foote (26 years), Willie Foote (11 years) and Maudie Foote (1 year).^[3]It is not known if there were any children born of this union.
