When Thomas G Wright was born on July 7, 1897, in Alabama, his father, Edward, was 18 and his mother, Francis, was 18.[1][2] He married Gertrude Bates on August 6, 1916, in Morgan, Alabama.[3] They had four children in 17 years.[4][5][6] He died on November 7, 1988, in Eva, Alabama, at the age of 91, and was buried there.[7]>[8]
