Biography

Mary Wright ("Mercy" on her birth record), was born in Woburn, Massachusetts, on October 7, 1711, the fifth child and second daughter of James Wright and Elizabeth Patten. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

On October 21, 1731, she married, in Woburn, William Kittredge, of Billerica, Massachusetts. The couple settled in a part of Billerica which in 1734, became the town of Tewksbury. Their first child was born in Billerica, the rest were born in Tewksbury. Children: ^{[2] [3] [4] [5]}

3. William, Jr., born April 25, 1737; married 1st, February 5, 1761, Rebecca Shed, 2nd, November 25, 1779, Hannah Patten.^[8][9]
