Biography
Robert was born on 9 Feb 1848 in Methven, Perthshire, Scotland. His parents were Robert Wright and Grace Kidd. He was baptized on 5 Mar 1848 in Methven. He had siblings named James K Wright and Ann S Wright.
In about 1879 or earlier he married Margaret Cowan. They had their first child, a son called Robert Wright, who was born in about July 1880.
They had four more children: Thomas C Wright, Grace Kidd Wright, Maggie G Wright and Annie K Wright.
The records do not give the middle names of the children. It is likely that they are the surnames of family members of earlier generations, i.e., Robert Stalker Wright, Thomas Cowan Wright, Grace Kidd Wright, Maggie Gibson Wright, Annie Kidd Wright. Need to check the records on this point.
He passed away in 1912.
