Biography

Eliza was born in 1857. She is the daughter of George Wright and Catharine Moran. ^[1]

She married John Lees 12 Jun 1876 at St Ignatius Church, Norwood. ^[2]

She passed away age 61 in 1918 ^[3] and was buried with her mother Catherine Wright in West Terrace Cemetery. ^[4]

LEES. On the 10th November, the beloved wife of J. B. Lees, of Steven-street, also mother of Mrs. T. Walker and Mrs. H. Jones, late of Gilles-street, also Mrs. J. T. Bailey, W.A., aged 61 years. Peace, perfect peace. ^[5]

LEES. THE FRIENDS of Mr. J. B. LEES are respectfnlly informed that the Funeral of his late WIFE (Eliza Ann) will leave her Son-in-law's Residence (Mr. T. Walker), No. 71, Hurtle-square, on Tuesday, at 3.30 p.m., for the Catholic Cemetery, West-terrace. ^[6]
