Wright FamilyTree DNA Project

This Wright ancestral line is Haplogroup I-M253 and has been identified through Y-Dna testing. Testing has traced the ancient path of this branch back as “Old Norse” through Denmark and most likely settlements in Yorkshire, England.

Paternal Wright males are invited to participate in YDna testing with the hopes of eventually connecting this line to other family members who descend from earlier ancestors. The project also accepts autosomal dna Wright descendants.
