Ralph Wright was born on 20 Jul 1883 in St Helens, Lancashire. His birth was registered in the third quarter of 1883, in Prescot district. He was the son of William Charles Wright and Elizabeth (Cross) Wright.
Ralph married Sarah Ann Middlehurst in 1909 in a registrar-attended ceremony in Prescot district - probably at a Catholic church.
By April 2nd 1911, Sarah's mother was in the hospital at Whiston Union Workhouse. Ralph and Sarah were living in St Helens, and had Sarah's father and brother Peter living with them. Ralph was working as a carter.
Sarah died on 26 Oct 1953, aged 72. She was buried with her parents at Windleshaw Chantry.
Ralph died on 23 Mar 1966, aged 82. He was buried with his wife.
