Biography
On 16 Mar 1766 Robert Wright, of Kiphill, son of Robert Wright was baptised at Tanfield, St Margaret. [1]
On 19 Jul 1795 Robert Wright (of Pelton Fell) married Esther Thorp (of Pelton Fell), by banns at Chester le Street, St Mary and St Cuthbert. Witnesses: Esther Huntley; William Pybus [2]
In 1841, Robert was living in Tanfield, Kip Hill. His son John, daughter in law Ann, their children and several others, including his Grandson Robert, and potentially, Granddaughters Elizabeth and Esther. [3]
