Jesse was born 11 Aug 1753 at Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts, the son of John Wright and Mary Locke. He married Lydia Parker 4 August 1772 at Woburn.[1][2]

Jesse Wright enlisted in the first militia that was raised in Woburn, under the command of Captain Jesse Wyman, and fought with this regiment at Bunker Hill and at other early battles of the revolution.[3][4]

He died 8 July 1827 at Rodman, Jefferson, New York.[5][6]
