Mary (Wright) Satterthwaite Haines was born on August 19, 1738, the daughter of Joshua Wright and Thomasin Pancoast. ^[1]

Mary was married twice.

She first married David Scatterwaite, the son of William Satterwaite and Mary Osborn.^[1]

Mary married second, Joseph Haines on 20 January 1763 at the Evesham Meeting House [Mount Laurel], under care of Evesham Monthly Meeting, ^[1][2]
