Emma Julia Annie Wright was born in about 1848 in Coddenham, Suffolk.
On April 2nd 1871, she was visiting in the household of Jane Jupp in Petworth. Also in the household were Jane's three young grandchildren, Mary Jupp White, Archibald White and Katherine Jane White, whose mother had died in 1868. Since Emma (who was going by the name of Julia at the time) was a visitor in the household rather than a servant, it seems unlikely she was the governess of the White children.
Emma married George White, the father of Mary, Archibald and Katherine, in 1872 in Marylebone district. His first wife had been Katherine Elizabeth Jupp.
Emma married Thomas White, a widowed brewer, in 1891 in Kingston district.
Thomas died on 28 May 1905, aged 78, at his home, 30, Victoria Road, Surbiton. He was buried on 1 Jun 1905 with his first wife. His executors were Emma Julia Annie White (his widow), Alfred Thomas Sherwin (brewer - his nephew, see 1871 census) and Hubert Henry White (farmer).
Neither birth registration nor baptism found so far, and few censuses, so it's possible there's some error in one of the details, or that Wright might not be her maiden name.
