Biography

Margaret was born in 1879.

In 1915, Margaret, a new Adventist, announced the Lord had chosen her as Ellen White’s successor. Margaret became known as a cult leader of the so called Reformed Seventh Day Adventist Church.[1] She attracted national attention for her prediction of the world's doom day. Dr. Burt Fullmer joined Margaret as the director of the small congregation.[1]

She was found to be misappropriating money by her followers and arranged for Dr. Fullmer to be murdered on February 27, 1927.[1] Unsuccessful in that attempt, she was sentenced August 11, 1927 to San Quentin prison in California.[2] She was discharged March 11, 1931.[2]

She passed away in 1939.
