Edith Wright was born in Surrey, England.

Edith was born in Guildford Surrey on 5 May 1895^[1] She was the daughter of Charles Wright and Clara Hedger. She was christened on 14th July 1895 in Ockham, Surrey, England^[2]

Edith was living with her parents and siblings in Ockham, Surrey, England in 1901^[3]

She was still living with her parents and siblings still in Ockham, Surrey, England and she was working as a nurse domestic in 1911^[4]

Edith remained single at the time of the 1939 Register and she was residing with her widowed father Charles in Walton and Weybridge Surrey. At the time, she recorded her occupation as 'domestic servant'.

Research Note

We have been unable to determine whether Edith married after 1939, and we have not located any verifiable death record. Having remained single until at least age 44, it is unlikely that Edith ever had children.
