Biography

Harrison Baldwin Wright was born on August 3, 1860.

He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1882. He subsequently studied law, and was admitted to the Michigan bar association. He later entered the General Theological Seminary, graduating in 1894. He was the rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Somerville, New Jersey, which is where both of his daughters were born. He was the rector of St. Asaph church in Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA from 1902 - 1921. Many improvements were made to the church and rectory during his tenure, including adding a new stained glass window, converting the stable to a motor car garage, and establishing the burial ground on the church property. He was known at the church for his love of music and for being a good musician.

Harrison passed away 01 Feb 1941.
