Samuel Wright, the son of Abel Wright and Martha (Kitchell) Wright, was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on June 17, 1679.[1]

Samuel appears to have moved to Lebanon, Connecticut about 1702, as there is a deed of 200 acres of land to him there dated January 30, 1702.[1]

Samuel married, first, Mary Case of Lebanon on November 27, 1710.[1] Samuel and Mary had the following children:

  1. Aaron, b. March 29, 1713 in Lebanon[2][1]
  2. John, b. September 23, 1716 in Lebanon[3][1]
  3. Mary, b. May 10, 1721 in Lebanon[4][1]
