Lidiah Wright, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth, was born in Wethersfield, 12 March 1672/73.[1]
She married, 13 September 1695 at Wethersfield, Israel Crane.[2][3] According to Probate Records Israel Crane was a collector in 1700 and a large land owner. He owned north land in Wright's Island. His estate was 444 Pounds plus. He died in 1707.
Lydia (Wright) Crane is named in the nuncupative will (1711) of her brother Thomas Wright.
9 February, 1719/20, Lydia Crane and Jonathan Belding, admins. on the estate of Israel Crane, exhibit an account of their administration.[4]
Lydia (Wright) Crane was possibly still living after 17 August 1731 when the shares of her daughters in their father's house (including her widow's dower), are ordered to be set out to them. (Lydia is not named, but it is also not obvious that she is deceased.)[4]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lydia by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lydia:
Lydia (Wright) Crane is named in the nuncupative will of her brother, Thomas Wright of Wethersfield, who also names: sister Mary Belding; the children (all of them named) of his brother David Goodrich; Silas, son of his brother Jonathan Belding. (A Digest of the Early Connecticut Probate Records, Vol. II, p. 345.)
Wright-9646 and Wright-444 appear to represent the same person because: There were three Lydia Wright profiles. They all have common parents, siblings, locations and dates. One profile was orphaned so I adopted it and merged it with my own. This merge will finish the task. There are other merges to be done in this family. Any advise is appreciated.
This Thomas Wright was the son of Thomas Wright and Elizabeth Chittenden.
Thus, Lydia who m. Israel Crane was NOT the daughter of James and Dorcas (Weede) Wright.
Detaching from James and Dorcas (Weede) Wright and attaching to correct parents, Thomas and Elizabeth (Chittenden) Wright.
Should be merged with existing Lydia, d. of Thomas, and detached from Joseph Smith.
The Lydia Wright who m. Joseph Smith was the sister of Thomas Wright, Sr.
