Deborah Wright was born on 12 Nov 1776, and christened at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. She was the daughter of John Wright (labourer of Windle).
Deborah's son William Wright was born (out of wedlock) on 17 Feb 1798, and christened on 25 Feb 1798 at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Prescot, Lancashire. The family's address was recorded as Windle.[1] His father was determined to be John Meadows of Ashton (labourer), and was required to pay towards the child's maintenance; according to the maintenance order, Deborah was living in the township of Rainford.[2]
Deborah's daughter Jane Wright was born in about 1811 in Liverpool.
Her son Thomas Wright was born (out of wedlock) on 10 Sep 1814, and christened on 23 Oct 1814 at Rainford Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. The family's address was recorded as Windle.[1]
By June 6th 1841, Deborah was living in Eccleston, Lancashire and working as an agricultural labourer. Her daughter Jane, and Jane's three children John (8), Margaret (2) and Mary (5 months old) were living with her.

Deborah died on 27 Dec 1853, of old age and lupus, aged 78, near Seven Stars, Eccleston - probably at her son William's house, since the same description was given for his address and since he was in attendance when she died. The death certificate described her as a housekeeper. She was buried on 1 Jan 1854 at Rainford Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. Her age was recorded as 78, and her address as Eccleston.
