Ruby was born in 1912. She is the daughter of James Wroe and Mary Hoole.

Ruby Rosalind born 1912 in Royton, Oldham; married Harold Newrick[22.3.1910, Royton-1986, Blackpool; parents Cornelius and Sarah] in 1834 in Middleton, nr. Oldham. Had a child buried and were living at 75A Milnrow Rd. In 1939 they were at 46 Blackshaw Lane, Royton with her mother, Mary Ellen Wroe nee Hoole[1873] and one other – presumably their daughter June Newrick[b 1935, Crompton and Royton; June married Leonard Jackson in 1956 in Middleton.
