Biography

When Delilah 'Lila' Wyatt was born on December 10, 1810, in Hopkins, Kentucky, her father, George, was 46, and her mother, Delilah, was 20.

She married Uel Daniel Fox on October 9, 1827, in Hopkins County, Kentucky. The marriage license was issued October 8.^[1][2] They had nine children in 19 years. She died on December 3, 1849, in Grayson, Texas, at the age of 38. Cause of death listed on the Mortality schedule was childbirth, she was ill for 10 days. ^[3]
