Event: Anecdote Note: Baptist until 1911, then joined First Christian Church 423/1906--"O.T. George, L. Deupree, E. G. Minton, C. C. Wyatt, J. T. Webb, Lon Carter and Albert Carter are among those who will probably go to New Orleans tonight (to attend the Confederate Reunion)" 9/15/1906--"Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wyatt and the former's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Rol Wyatt, will leave Tues. for a three weeks visit to Temple, Texas."7/13/1907--"There were 7 brothers in Mayfield Fri. which was probably the first time that it ever happened with this family before. The names of these men are John, Ben, Jeff, George, Jim, Charley and Will Wyatt. All of them but two live in the Cuba and Sedalia section and are the most prominent and prosperous farmers in that section of the county. Charley Wyatt, who is well known, is cashier of the Farmer's Bank and not such a good farmer. Will Wyatt lives in Temple, Texas and is here on a visit to relatives.12/16/1902--"Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's father, Mr. George M. Wilson, four miles south of this city, Miss Mary Wilson will be married to Mr. Charles Wyatt. Miss Wilson is a charming young lady, agreeable, talented, bright and pretty and everything to make Mr. Wyatt an excellent helpmate during life. Mr. Wyatt is a prosperous and popular young merchant at Sedalia."7/8/1903--"Charlie Wyatt and family have moved to the city from Sedalia and live on South Street adjoining Oscar George. Mr. Wyatt will be cashier of the Farmer's National Bank which will open up just east of the Messenger office July 15th."5/21/1931--"County Treasurer-- C. C. Wyatt" Appointed administrator of his father, Roll Wyatt, estate 2/211916.
