Victor Hugo Wyatt was born 5 Aug 1888[1] in Mississippi[2] as the son of James Elbert Wyatt (1855-1941) and Eliza Fannie (Doss) Wyatt (1866-1937).[3]
In 1900 at age 12, Victor and 7 siblings - Louise Wyatt, Walter Wyatt, Linda Wyatt, James Wyatt, Lyda Wyatt, Juanita Wyatt, and newborn Bettie Wyatt, were living in Prairie Point, Noxubee, Mississippi, with parents James (43) and Eliza (33) and a maternal uncle, Henry N Doss (31), and a niece, Annie Davis (8).[4]
Between 1917-1918, he was referred to as being of medium height and build with black hair and blue eyes at the time of his draft registration in Noxubee County, Mississippi, USA.[2]
He served as Cpl. in the US Army during WWI, entering on 8 Jul 1917 and ending on 21 Jul 1919[1].
On 1 May 1940 he was 52 and working as a mail carrier in Noxubee, Mississippi. He had been living in Noxubee for at least 5 years and was married to wife, Blanche Bessie Poile (abt.1895-abt.1975) (age 44).[5]
Victor died at the age of 65, on 11 Jan 1954, in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee[3], and was interred at the Memphis National Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee, USA on 14 Jan 1954[1]
