Biography

Rachel Wyckoff was born in 1750 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. She was the daughter of John Wyckoff (1720-1793) and Maria Vandine Wyckoff (1720-1793).

Rachel married Martin D. Poling in Virginia in 1766. Martin D. Poling was born in 1748 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA. He was the son of Samuel Poling (1725-1782) and Madeline Lena Polen (1725-1768).

Martin and Rachel were the parents of the following known children: Elizabeth Poling 1766 – , Samuel M Poling 1767 – 1840, Martin C Poling 1768 – 1819, Roger Poling 1770 – 1832, Sarah Poling 1770 – , Deborah Poling 1771 – 1842, William Poling 1772 – 1836, Rachel Poling 1776 – 1808, Madeline Poling 1781 – and Margaret Poling 1784 – 1855.
