Biography

Alexander Wylie married Jane Thomson on 31 December 1875 and the marriage was registered in 1876 in the Abbey Burgh district.[1] Alexander lived at 13 Well Street in Paisley and was employed as a Carter. His parents were Robert Wylie, Shawl Weaver, and Mary (Ferguson) Wylie. Jane lived at Maxwellton in Paisley and was employed as a Starch Packer. Her parents were Archibald Thomson, Shawl Weaver, and Jeanie (Brown) Thomson.

In the 1881 census Alexander Wylie and his wife, Mary Ferguson Wylie were living on Rowand Street in Paisley, Scotland. They resided with Alexander's father, Robert Wylie, their daughter Agnes (age 3) and son Robert (age 0)[2].

Alexander Wylie and Jane Brown Thomson had a son, Robert Wylie b. 29 Mar 1881 in Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland [3].

In about 1895 they had another son, Alexander Wylie (Junior)[4].

Lived in Paisley, Scotland. Carter.
