William Wylie was born on 3 Sep 1854 in Ontario, Canada. He was the son of John Wylie and Euphene McInnes.

William Wylie and Ellen Ann Coone married on 30 Oct 1877 in Mariposa, Victoria, Ontario, Canada. He was 24 years old at the time and she was 25. The registration indicated that he was the son of John Wylie and Euphene McInnes. Ellen was the the daughter of James Coone and Mary Pound, ^[1]

William appeared in the 1881 Canadian Census with his wife and children in Brock, Ontario North. He was a blacksmith. ^[2]

William passed away at the age of 71 in 14 May 1925 on Wilson St in York, Ontario. The cause of death was liver cancer. The registration indicated that he was born on 3 Sep 1854 in Mariposa, Ontario. He was the son of John Wylie and Euphenia McInnes, both born in Scotland. He was a retired blacksmith. He was buried at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Markham on 17 May 1925. The informant was his sister Mrs. Wm Real of Blackwater, Ontario. ^[6]
