Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".
Derek - get ready to be blown-away! Thanks so much for your wonderful email. I just did a search on Wylie (see that little magnifying glass at the top- just click on it and go see all the Wylies) and sorted it by birthdate -the number of profiles from Ireland early 19th century was astounding! There are also 109 Wylie DNA connections on Wikitree! I hope you are able to connect with these profiles to your cherished family history. Cheers - Deborah

Wow!!! You're the 864th Wylie to join Wikitree and add your family history! I'm sure your 'cousins' profiled here will benefit from you adding to Wikitree your insightful collaboration, sourced research and first-hand knowledge.
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.
I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. That's awesome. Our GEDCOM process is a bit different than what might be used to on other sites. We have some great help pages to make your experience go more smoothly:
The initial email from us has helpful links that get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to Volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you choose to Volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Welcome to the Family, were really glad youre here.

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, please ask!
