In 1807, Dolly Wyman married Stephen Wing in Mount Vernon, Kennebec, Maine. There are two entries in the Maine Marriages database, one in January of that year and one for March 5th, 1807. The first was perhaps the date their intention to marry was filed, the second perhaps the date of their actual marriage.[1][2]
In the 1850 US Census, Stephen, 61 and a farmer, was living in Stetson, Penobscot, Maine, with 47 year-old Amy Wing, who may have been his second wife. So presumably Dolly died before that year, but after May 31, 1821 when her son Howard was born. A 26 year-old Mary Wing was also living with Stephen Wing in 1850. She was probably either his daughter or daughter-in-law. If his daughter, then Dolly would have died after1823, when Mary was likely born. [3][4]
