Downey-1809: Was the last name at birth Wyman??? I cannot see source.

[(Houghton-1087)]: Some references have her born in Chelmsford, however there was little going on anywhere in Massachusetts Bay Colony prior to 1630.

Good day, fellow profile managers! After several hours of digging, I can find no proof for the use of the surname "Wyman" for Sarah. Indeed, I have found the Sarah Wyman, maiden name Nutt, of Woburn, who married a John Wyman, and may have been the source of this conflagrated profile. https://archive.org/details/genealogyofwyman00wyma/page/4/mode/2up?ref=ol&view=theater The very first entry in this tome clears up things quite a bit. I would like to have the approval of my fellow managers to remove the Wyman name from our Sarah, and also remove mentions of Chelmsford MA as her birthplace, as that area was not incorporated until 1655, making it highly unlikely that any colonists had moved into that area 20+ years prior. All in favor?

OK. It seems that there is no evidence for her last name. Must be unknown.

Is there a source for her LNAB?
posted by M Cole
As you can see, Waite and Parker were both marital names, no source has been found regarding Wyman name at this time.

I think the marital names are Waite and Parker?

But in any case, if there isn't a source for Wyman as LNAB, can it be updated to unknown?

Chelmsford didn't exist in 1627.

Unknown-13475 and Wyman-831 appear to represent the same person because: Jacob Parker had only one wife, Sarah, who married John Wayt/Wait/Waite after his death. See e.g. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/126687171/jacob-parker, https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/126687537/sarah-parker.
