Geradus "Gerrit" Wynkoop was born about September 1666 in Albany, New York, United States of America. [1] When Gerrit was born his father, Cornelius, was 39 and his mother, Marytje, was 32.
He married Hilletje Gerritsen Folker Eltinge and they had around 15 children together.
He died on January 1, 1745, having lived about 78 years. Garret Wynkoop of Northampton, Gentllman dated his will 26 October 1741, calling himself "very weak of body."[2] Legacies to:
sons Cornelis Wynkoop, Garret Wynkoop, Nicolas Wynkoop, and Philipus Wynkoop
daughter Mary van de Grift
Janettie Garet and Andries Van Buskirk, children of his daughter Jacomyntie deceased

Executors were sons Cornelis and Philipus. The will was proved on 4 April 1748, the date the second witness attested, although the first witness had appeared an attested on 4 March 1747 (presumably written old style).

1727 Bucks County, Pennsylvania - Gerrit buys 500 acres in Northampton, PA and relocates there.
Residence
1717 - Per the Wynkoop Geneology book on Google books, Gerrit moved his family from Ulster NY to Moreland PA. His son, Cornelius is found listed in several of the same paragraphs describing events surrounding Sampson Davis, Sr.
