Biography

George is buried in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.[1]

Timeline

1880 At the time of the 1880 Census, George and Margaret were living in Jackson County, Alabama. George is 30 years old, a farmer, and he states that he was born in Tennessee, as were both of his parents. Four of his children are living with him -- Peggy J, Nigara T, Pleasant F and William J -- along with a stepson, John W. Been. This means that William must be the child of both George and Margaret; the other Wynn children must be the children of George's first wife, Lucy.[2]
