DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Rico or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Rico:

Hi Rico,

Wow, something is horribly wrong on the John Bybee page. I will most definitely need to look into that. That's interesting information you have about Elizabeth. I wonder what the story is behind that, like why was she with the slave instead of her husband? How many kids did they have? Things like that. I need to look again though to see if it is John I'm directly related to or her.

Hi Rico,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

How do you know so much about the Bybees? It is interesting to learn, but strikes my curiosity.
Thank you so for your recent merges.

Here's a link to merging help in case you have any questions about merging http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging

I'm here to answer any questions as well.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community. And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways. As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!

WARNING! Please do NOT use any profile I have uploaded without confirming sources as a wikitree bug had duplicated and re-arranged profiles so, e.g., Sarah Ledbury is the mother, spouse, and sister of several profiles thus reconfiguring legions of other profiles. Thank you!

Hi! I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of

great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
